1. CONTACT THE CEMETERY--Before placing an order with us, our customers must first meet with or call the cemetery, memorial park or funeral home's sales, family service or marker administrator staff to determine the rules, policies and fees regarding grave markers at the location where it will eventually be installed.
Each cemetery or memorial park typically has very specific requirements that must be adhered to such as a bronze marker's size, it's background color, style of border or edge, and type of base such as granite or concrete, if any, on which it must be mounted.
Click here for a helpful list of questions that can be printed beforehand and filled in while talking with their staff including the name and phone number of the cemetery or memorial park and point-of-contact there so we can confirm with them after receiving your order that it meets their requirements.
2. CHOOSE ARTWORK--Please visit the "Design Themes" page of this website's bronze grave markers section to see categories of artwork to accompany your epitaph. Have the design number for the bronze bronze marker written down and ready since you'll be asked to submit it on the form below.
3. PREPARE and SUBMIT TEXT, EPITAPH--Have the desired text and epitaph for the bronze bronze marker ready since you'll be given the choice on the form below of either submitting the text for the marker here or faxing or e-mailing it separately afterwards (the fax number and e-mail address are provided).
4. COMPLETE OUR ONLINE FORM--We've designed the online order form below to be simple and easy-to-understand. We hope you agree!
5. PAYMENT--After receiving and reviewing your bronze grave marker order, we will contact you for your credit card payment information and answer any questions before immediately moving forward with the design and layout. Note: We don't offer a shopping cart with an automatic online payment feature since we want to make sure the text and/or artwork submitted will attractively fit in the marker being ordered before charging your credit card.
As part of our service, we will contact the cemetery, memorial park or funeral home directly (based on the information you give us during the online ordering process) to double-check with them that the marker being purchased meets their requirements.
6. APPROVE MARKER LAYOUT--Once we receive your payment details, our goal is to have a design of your bronze grave marker layout faxed or e-mailed to you (Mon.-Fri.) within hours, not days. You'll be given the chance to make any changes (we'll send you a revised proof if there are) or approve the marker "as is" before it is submitted to the foundry team.
7. WAIT FOR DELIVERY--Upon approval of the proof, casting of a bronze grave marker is normally completed within 20-25 business days. Another week is required for shipping. This is an approximate (not guaranteed) time frame and shouldn't be strictly relied upon, particularly if planning an unveiling or dedication ceremony.

Standard hardware package shipped with each marker: Four 5/16" threaded brass studs/lugs 6" long, four washers and four nuts.
|

"Bosses," or additional bronze pads, are cast onto the back of each marker to provide extra thickness in four locations so they can be drilled and die-tapped to accept threaded brass studs for mounting on a base or foundation. If the marker is being mounted on a granite or concrete base that has pre-drilled holes, please indicate where we need to put the four pre-drilled holes on the back of the marker so it matches up correctly with the holes in the base. Note - If you don't have this information, we will contact the cemetery, memorial park or funeral home to confirm the details needed.

a). Send a quality copy of the in-focus original to us at the address below via a trackable method (UPS or FedEx Ground; originals will be returned), or
b). The preferred option is to have the photo scanned at 300dpi (dots per inch) resolution at the ideal size of 4 1/4" W x 6" H by someone who understands the proper way to scan photos and e-mail it to us at: Info@BronzeMarkersAndPlaques.com.
Pricing shown includes installation by our staff in the appropriately-sized oval or round frame(s) that will have already been pre-cast into the bronze marker according to the final layout approved by you.
